We love our pets and want for them to be a part of every aspect of our life possible. So taking your dog with you on a vacation, spending a day at the beach, going out on a boating trip, or just down hanging out at the park builds a stronger bond between you and your four-legged friend. Dogs love to make new friends, and enjoy all the sights, scents, and sounds of the great outdoors.

And, as a responsible owner, you will need to invest in a a few essentials to make sure the day (and evening) goes smoothly and is a happy experience for all.

Pet Packing List

Here is our recommended Packing List for when you are out and about with man’s best friend:

Pet Carrier (for travel with smaller dogs)

Pet Backpack (to carry all these items)

Dog Collar with ID tags (on dog), And at least 2 Leashes & 1 Extra Collar

Apple Air Tag (or some type of GPS locator)

Dog Seatbelt & Harness

Muzzle (required in some areas/countries)

Dog Bed and Blankets

Pet Toys - chew toys, balls, stuffed animals

Food and Drink Bowls

Bag of Food, Travel Water Bottle

Immunization Records and Rabies Certificate (hard copy and photo on phone)

Doggie Towel

Flea and Worm/Tick Medication

Poop Bags and Bag Holder with Carabiner clip

Rain and/or Snow Jacket, Rain and/or Snow Booties, Sweater

Grooming - Musher’s Dog Paw Wax. Brush/Comb, Nail Clippers
